Watch Out Big Bend, Here We Come...

Our Texas Hikers is planning to explore the greatness that is Big Bend, Texas again this year.  There are so many challenging trails within this park which we didn't cover on our previous hike, we decided to continue our exploration of this magnificent part of the country to complete more trails and learn more about this park.  Big Bend offers such a diverse environment from desert to mountains with a broad range of plants and wildlife. There are natural ecosystems here that exist no place else on earth. 

We'll be starting the expedition on March 17th through March 20th.

Our trail safety plan will be provided to the Gage Hotel front desk, should our expedition suffer any difficulties.  Remember: Safety First.

The three amigos on our annual team trip last October. (2015)  This trip was to Big Bend National Park and our focus was to conquer Emory Peak  (elevation: 7,825′). This trail was approximately 10 miles.
